Nancy Rhoads began her legal career as a medical malpractice defense attorney. However, after suffering her own serious auto accident in 1990, she switched sides to specialize in the handling of plaintiffs’ medical malpractice, products liability, pharmaceutical liability and class action cases.
Nancy received her B.A. from Gettysburg College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was admitted to Phi Beta Kappa. She graduated from Temple University School of Law, where she served on the Moot Court and participated in national competitions.
She has obtained substantial verdicts and settlements for her clients in medical negligence cases, including those involving issues of neurosurgery, birth and neonatal care, breast cancer treatment, cardiac care, and internal medicine, among others. She has also handled complex cases for plaintiffs in the fields of products liability involving explosions, and pharmaceutical liability involving Vioxx, Zyprexa, HRT, and diet drugs.
Nancy has practiced primarily in Pennsylvania and New York and has also successfully handled cases in New Jersey and Delaware.
For the last several years, Nancy has participated in the Big Brother/Big Sister Program.
